The Jersey Association of Directors and Officers (“JADO”) held their AGM and Annual Summer reception on 6th July 2017 at the Merchant House Brasserie.  The event provided members with an update on the roles and activities of the Association as well as a fantastic networking opportunity for members and friends of the Association.

At the AGM Zoe Dixon-Smith was appointed as Chairman of the Association.  Zoe has worked in the fiduciary industry for over 25 years and has specialised in Risk,  Compliance and Financial Crime Prevention since 1999.  She spent 3 years at the Jersey Financial Services Commission before holding senior compliance roles in major financial institutions in Jersey for the last 15 years. Zoe Dixon-Smith commented ‘I am delighted to have been appointed JADO Chairman.  I have been a member of the Association for 4 years and watched it grow from strength to strength. I have exciting plans for the Association and am looking forward to working closely with the wider committee to further enhance the Association for the benefit of our members’.

The Jersey Association of Directors and Officers now has approximately 200 members from a wide range of industries.  JADO provides a unique forum for member communications as well as a conduit for information flow between industry and local bodies.

Gayle Swanson added ‘My 3 year tenure has been a fantastic experience. Our Association continues to grow from strength to strength as our membership fast approaches the ‘200’ milestone and I’m proud to be stepping down having achieved what we have over the last 3 years.  A large heart felt thank you to the cast of contributors to this success, in particular the Committee, past and present.  The Association would not be what it is without them and its been a privilege supporting and working with them.  I look forward to the next Chapter for our Association and working closely with Zoe’
